It was 45 years ago May 4th and the powers that be still have reason to keep the truth about Kent State hidden. One part one, Laurel Krause whose sister Allison was gunned down at age 19. She talks about an effort to get the UN to press the case and push the US government to follow newly discovered evidence that there was an order to fire. And on part two, author Nick Turse talks about his book: Kill Anything That Moves. Despite official denials, he found that atrocities like My Lai were not the result of a few bad apples, but were widespread and may have been policy. The young men who carried out the atrocities were also victims. Don’t we deserve the truth?
