No exaggeration: America’s sovereignty, our democracy itself, is under serious jeopardy by the Trans-Pacific Partnership. You haven’t heard of it for good reasons: the supra-national interests who stand to gain tremendous new economic and political power have carefully kept it secret. And there’s secrecy on top of secrecy; it’s called Fast Track, a process whereby congress is left out. Obama is for it as are the Republicans. And it threatens our democracy like nothing before it. But it is not too late to fight back. We are not (yet) powerless.
